My Favorite 10 Pinterest Fall Drink Finds!

This Texas heat has just been RUDE the past few days. I know, I know…I live in Texas. Texas is HOT. Get over it or move. Truth is I love Texas and Texas is my home. That doesn’t mean I get accustomed to or like the heat that always comes with the Texas summers. Add in the heat index and this fat, pregnant, already somewhat swollen Mama is just plain super uncomfortable in this heat with heat indexes of 110+. I could go on and on, but I won’t!

This heat has had me dreaming of Fall! A little cooler time in Texas. Beautiful hues of orange and red. The scents of the season. The DRINKS! I know a lot of people LOVE the whole Pumpkin Spice coffee from a certain coffee shop. I’m not really a fan. At one time I was, but it is just so overdone now. EVERYTHING is pumpkin spice this, pumpkin spice that…It’s boring. If you like it, I’m sorry for insulting your favorite drink of the season. My favorite seasonal drink is more along the lines of the maple pecan variety. My FAVORITE seasonal drink was the Holiday Spice. Y’all one of the baristas told me how to have it made any season back when it came out. I ordered it ALL the time! Of course then my local coffee joint ran out of said flavors and I forgot how to order it. Plus I decided spending that amount of money on a cup of coffee just wasn’t worth it unless it was a special treat so I stopped going as frequently. Enough about me and my favorite drinks. All of this got me wondering what delicious Fall drinks (not just of the coffee variety) I could find on Pinterest. Time for some of the drinks I found on Pinterest that I thought sounded good or might be an interesting try for the coming Fall season!

Even though I’m not a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Latte craze, I am including how to make your own. This is not new, but maybe it will help some of you be able to refrain from going to that expensive coffee place and instead stay home and make a more budget friendly version of the fav pumpkin spice latte. Check out the version from Wellness Mama! https://wellnessmama.com/3223/pumpkin-spice-latte/

One of the big things in Texas is the State Fair of Texas. There are so many things I think of when I think of the State Fair of Texas, but one of my daughter’s favorite things is cotton candy! This year the State Fair has been canceled. As I was searching through different drinks that reminded me of Fall, I came across the Cotton Candy Coffee from The Worktop. https://www.theworktop.com/breakfast-brunch-recipes/cotton-candy-coffee/. I don’t know how it tastes, but the cotton candy sure reminds me of the State Fair and Fall! Ii think I’m going to have to at least give it a try.

What would Fall be without some Apple Cider? I usually cheat and just buy some apple juice and some Red Hots. Then I throw the Red Hots in my apple juice and cook on the stove for a little bit and top with a bit of cinnamon, but the recipe I found on Pinterest sound a little healthier! It definitely looks a lot better than mine and you can cook it in the slow cooker! Think of how delicious your house will smell while cooking this one up! https://www.almostsupermom.com/crock-pot-apple-cider-recipe/
